Year 6 Transition
Welcome to Garston Manor School where Growing Minds Succeed.
We are delighted that your child/ward has been offered a placement with us. We look forward to supporting you and your child/ward along their academic journey. 'We nurture the moral, social, academic, spiritual, cultural, emotional and physical development of our school community. The best interest of the students … is at the heart of every decision'. (Garston Manor School Mission Statement, http://www.garstonmanor.herts.sch.uk/AboutUs/Vision-and-Aims/)
I would like to introduce myself as well as the other members of the KS3 Lower Phase Team. We are the teachers who will be welcoming your young person and looking after them during their first year in secondary school. Please have a look at all of the information available to you regarding the transition package.
The Garston Manor School website has an abundance of important information that will serve as a great guide and link to keep you informed and involved in your young person’s days/weeks/years in school.
Please feel free to contact me about your child’s/ward’s transition, with any questions, concerns, comments or suggestions. The best way to contact me is via email as follows:
