Phased Reopening of Garston Manor

From Monday 1st June 2020, Garston Manor will be open to some students whose families are not self-isolating. All families have been contacted directly. Priority is given to the most vulnerable students (CLA, students with social workers, students of key workers)

However government advice is : “If it is at all possible for children to be at home, then they should be.” The guidance also reminds parents that “Parents should also do everything they can to ensure children are not mixing socially in a way which can continue to spread the virus. They should observe the same social distancing principles as adults.”

A huge effort has been made to ensure the health and wellbeing of all students and staff in school. Attempts at social distancing within school means that fewer students and staff can be in any school space at time.
