About Us 

Garston Manor School is a Specialist School for Autism, Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language. It serves students aged 11 - 16 with Learning Difficulties, Autism and Speech Language and Communication Needs. All subjects are taught in mixed groups across the curriculum.

The school is situated on a very large and pleasant site, having recently been completely rebuilt, now offers outstanding facilities and provisions for our school community. Pupils attend from a wide area which extends from Watford to Borehamwood and covers parts of Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City.

“Our last School Survey in Spring Term 2019 indicated that 93% of parent's/carer's who responded would recommend this school to another parent/carer, 96% of the pupils are happy at this school and 93% of the pupils feel safe at the school. We also noted that 9% of parent's/carer's disagree that their child/ward receives appropriate homework for their stage of development, 5% of pupils say they do not feel safe on transport to and from school and 8% of parent's/carer's feel that they do not receive enough valuable information from the school about their child's/ward's progress." We are working with parents to address these issues.
